UFC FIGHT NIGHT SINGAPORE 2017
It’s finally happening: The Ultimate Fighting Championship
is coming to South-east Asia, and we’re lucky to have some
of the best fighters in the cage duking it out right on our
doorstep. Rising stars from several Asian communities,
including South Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia and the
Philippines, are invited to test their mettle in the octagon.
So be sure to catch them in the ring together with the main
event. Mark your calendars – this is gonna be rough.
June 13 to 17, Singapore Indoor Stadium
ULTRA SINGAPORE 2017
If there’s one music festival that you die die have to go at least
once, it’s Ultra Singapore, the nation’s largest electronic music
festival. The festival never disappoints: Last year, it brought
numerous high-profile DJs such as Afrojack and DJ Snake. It
doesn’t matter if you’re an EDM fan or not – if you’re in the mood
for partying and simply just want to lose yourself to dance, then
this is a music festival you cannot afford to miss.
June 10-11, Ultra Park, 1 Bayfront Avenue
TRANSFORMERS:
THE LAST KNIGHT
Now we know what some of
you may be thinking: Another
Transformers movie? While
Transformers: Age Of Extinction
wasn’t the best of sequels, let’s
not lose hope on our favourite
car robots. The premise for The
Last Knight, among all other
sequels, has never been more
gritty. Focusing on the conflict
and distrust between man and
machine, the Autobots are now
waging a full-on war against
humans, while an unlikely alliance
between Bumblebee and three
humans investigate the true
reason why the Transformers keep
invading. We’ll be giving Michael
Bay one more shot at this. And let’s
be real: What’s better than seeing
30-foot robots destroy a city?

Wonder Woman, our favourite DC heroine,
is going to hit the cinemas faster than Superman
can fly 30 times around the Earth – and we’re nothing
but excited to see her in action. The plot focuses on
Diana Prince’s beginnings: How the Amazon (played
by Gal Gadot) trained herself to be the best warrior
on the island of Themyscira, only to discover stranded
American pilot Steve Trevor (played by Chris Pines),
who informs her of World War 1, leading her to
discover a whole new world that she finds herself
determined to protect. We don’t know about you, but
having two extremely good-looking actors holding
the main roles in a film is almost guaranteed to give it
an explosive box office. Let’s just hope DC won’t
disappoint us like how Batman vs Superman did.
Fingers crossed!
