master bathroom, the bathtub was
positioned under the window so you can
see the starry sky at night; the large dining
table is made from an antique door from
Vietnam and the dining chairs are
upholstered in linen; Julie designed the
kitchen, which has grey marble benchtops;
the kitchen, dining room and living area
flow into one another; cut philodendron
leaves and brass lamps give the master
bedroom a warm feel, while the padded
headboard, pillows and iron tables provide
a touch of extravagance; the rough stone
sink from Italy inspired the style of the
guest bathroom, which features Fossena
Italian marble floor tiles. The ladder, table
and mirror are made of old timber from
China and the fixtures are from Volevatch;
shades of grey, and soft blankets and
pillows are the hallmarks of one of the boys’
bedrooms; the master bathroom’s shower
has a circular window. OPPOSITE Julie has
carefully curated a collection of vases on
the mirror-topped tables in the bedroom.
