‘CAN I GET AN AMEN?’
Khloé is also kween of keeping
shit real. ‘The first day of your
period is literally like there’s a
little alien inside of you beating
the f*ck out of your uterus.’ No
topic is too taboo for her – boobs,
vaginas, periods; she’s happy to
talk about it all. ‘I just think that
knowing about your body at any
age, whether it’s educating your
self on fertility, getting mammo
grams, going through puberty, is
important,’ she says. ‘I just really
encourage women empowerment
and being comfortable talking
about these issues.’
Khloé’s most loveable quality
is her selfdeprecating sense of
humour. Turn on any episode of
KUWTK and she’ll poke fun at
herself at least once, blaming her
‘fat ass’ for ripping her dress or,
heck, even doing a rain dance in
the living room. She’s not one to
sweat the small stuff and take
herself too seriously. ‘Fame comes
and goes, but you have to be able
to laugh about yourself and take
it with a grain of salt,’ she says.
Most of all, Khloé still gets
that overwhelming feeling that
life can just be ‘really hard’. Like
the rest of us, she’s trying to pave
her path and navigate her way
through the obstacles – she never
says she’s perfect or is under any
illusion that she’s got this. She’ll
sooner throw her hands up and
admit to her stuffups than boast
of her success. And that is perhaps
the reason why we’re all so keen
to keep up with her – because we
can. ‘I’ve learnt from experience
you just never know what happens
in life.’ We’ll drink to that!

Living under the constant
glare of cameras can’t be an easy
feat – we’ve been there for her
lowest of lows and highest of
highs. It’s little wonder we’re so
invested in her life. Just look at
her 68.6 million followers on
Instagram, who eagerly await
her next post. We’re all rooting
for her to have a happy ending

  • something that looks to be a
reality with her beau, NBA star
    Tristan Thompson. But through
all the ups and downs of her life,
    Khloé’s never compromised who
she is. Fan or not, you can’t argue:
    it’s an admirable quality. More
    than that, she always encourages
others to do the same. ‘I’m an
advocate of owning who you are
as a person. Don’t be ashamed or
    intimidated. Never feel like you
    are not amazing,’ she says.
