with a hand on her back and didn’t
make any eff ort to walk in separate-
ly or hide before they climbed into
their chauff eured car. “Ben was very
relaxed and at ease,” notes another
source, “almost as if he was relieved
that this was fi nally out in the open.”
Lindsay was also married when
she and Ben started their rela-
tionship. She met her future hus-
band, SNL-turned-Late Night With
Seth Meyers producer Kevin Miller
(who follows Ben on Twitter!), on
her fi rst day of work at SNL in 2002
after graduating from the Univer-
sity of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. They married in 2010. Court
records show the pair, who share a
4-year-old daughter, Madeline, be-
gan divorce proceedings in Septem-
ber 2015 — two months after Ben and
Jen announced that their marriage
was over. Though the divorce is yet

to be fi nalized, the exes live in sepa-
rate apartments in the same NYC
building. A family insider put it this
way: “I don’t think it’s a surprise to
anybody [that Lindsay’s with Ben].”
Ben isn’t the only A-lister Lindsay
has been linked to. She’s also raised
eyebrows thanks to her friendship
with Jon Hamm. “She and Jon would
dirty dance together and be very
fl irtatious out in the open at SNL af-
terparties — this went on for years,”
says an SNL staff er. “They were
both in relationships at the time and
people always talked about it.” The
source close to Ben insists his ro-
mance with Lindsay “only became a
real relationship three months ago.”
But other sources say it’s been a “real
relationship” for years.
Publicly, Jen’s putting on a hap-
py face. But even though she was
all smiles as she was photographed

leaving a workout on July 8 and then
again at church on July 9, privately
she’s in agony. “Of course Jen’s com-
pletely humiliated. She’s mortifi ed
and embarrassed,” says the insider.
The last few years have been rough:
Two years ago, Ben found himself
embroiled in a nanny cheating scan-
dal just weeks after he and Jen an-
nounced their split, which followed
years of marital strife. “He and Jen
have long grappled with serious is-
sues, including his gambling, drink-
ing and, of course, cheating rumors,”
an insider told In Touch in 2015.
Now with Lindsay fi rmly in
the picture, Jen and Ben are at
the point of no return. “Jen feel s
like Ben made a fool of her and that
Lindsay knew exactly what she was
doing,” says the insider. “She’s ex-
tremely disappointed in Ben — and
says she’ll never forgive him.” ċ

After vacationing with their
kids in the Bahamas in late
June, Ben, Jen and their
brood attend a Fourth of
July parade near their homes.
Lindsay is reportedly in
town. She and Ben are
photographed on a dinner
date two days later.

HUMILIATED AND BETRAYED

2017
Ben reveals in a March
Facebook post that he has
“completed treatment for
alcohol addiction.” He
thanks “my co-parent,
Jen, who has
supported
me and
cared for
our kids as
I’ve done
the work
I set out
to do.”

2013
That May, Ben hosts
SNL for the fi fth
time. Jen joins him
onstage for his
monologue, in which
he attempts to
explain eyebrow-
raising comments he
made at the Oscars
two months earlier
when he called their
marriage “work but
the best kind of
work.” Lindsay is
working there and
already in the
picture, sources
tell In Touch.

2015
On June 30, one day after their 10th wedding
anniversary, Ben and Jen announce they’ve made
“the diffi cult decision to divorce.” The statement
comes as they’re vacationing with their kids in
the Bahamas, where the couple is photographed
looking serious. Weeks later, Ben’s implicated
in a nanny cheating scandal. Jen fi nally fi les for
divorce nearly 18 months later in April 2017.
