Mary welcomes a new
rose and a new puppy
Danish Crown Princess Mary looked the
part for Copenhagen’s 2017 garden show,
with a sweeping floral skirt and elegant
wide-brimmed straw hat. The Crown
Princess baptised a new pink rose, the
CphGardenInBloom,whichwasbredby
a local rose grower, Rosa Eskelund. It
wasn’t the only thing Mary introduced to
the world. The royal family welcomed a
newbordercolliepuppy,Grace,afterthe
death of “faithful and loving” family dog
Ziggy in April, aged 12. Gorgeous Grace is
from the same family as Ziggy, who was a
wedding present for Mary and Frederik.
