n the European summer
of 2015 Hunter Lawrence
and his family headed
over to Spain for the FIM
Junior World
Championship in search
of an elusive FIM gold
medal after having come
so close to winning two
years prior.
While outright victory
eluded Hunter once
more, it turned out that bronze was
worth more than gold on this
occasion. Before he knew it, the deal
of a lifetime beckoned that would see
the whole Lawrence family up sticks
to embark on the well-trodden path
to Europe.
At just 17-years of age, Hunter
Lawrence is now a seasoned
campaigner in Europe, with FIM
Junior visits yielding a mixed bag of
results: 2011, Italy (65cc), 5th overall;
2012, Bulgaria (85cc), 13th overall;
2013, Czech Republic (85cc), 2nd
overall; 2014, Belgium (125cc); and
2015, Spain (125cc), 3rd overall.
