Shape shoulder
Next Row: RS -
Cast off 4 (5, 6,
7) sts at beg of
row.
Next Row: WS - Work 1 row.
Cast off rem 4 (5, 6, 7) sts.
Next Row: RS - Leaving centre 16 sts on holder, rejoin
yarn to rem 17 (20, 23, 26) sts, work to end.


Shape neck
Next Row: WS - Dec 1 st at neck edge of this row, and
foll 8 (9, 10, 11) rows. 8 (10, 12, 14) sts, 9 (10, 11,
12) neck shaping rows.
Work 1 (2, 4, 5) rows straight.


Shape shoulder
Next Row: WS - Cast off 4 (5, 6, 7) sts at beg of row.
Next Row: RS - Cast off rem 4 (5, 6, 7) sts.


MAKING UP
With RS tog, using backstitch, join shoulder seams. Using
edge to edge st, join side seams.


NECKBAND
With RS facing, using 4.50mm circular needle and beg
at shoulder seam, pick up 12 (14, 16, 18) sts down
left side front neck, 16 sts from holder at centre front
neck, 12 (14, 16, 18) sts up right side front neck, 12
(14, 16, 18) sts down right side back neck, 16 sts from
holder at centre back neck, and 12 (14, 16, 18) sts up
left side front neck. 80 (88, 96, 104) sts.
Work 3 rounds St st. Cast off.


ARMHOLE BAND
With RS facing, using 4.50mm circular needle and beg
at under arm seam, pick up 92 (94, 96. 98) sts evenly
around armhole.
Work 3 rounds St st. Cast off.
