erythingorganizedsowecanreturn

toexactspots.

“Nowwhenwearrivetohunt,we

take a full day to drive around and

speed-scouta bunchof differentloca-

tions,” Warbritton added. “The onX

app helpsus attackthismoreefficient-

ly.Often,we learnthatsomespotslook

nothinglikewe imagined,butwe just

markthemoffandmoveon.Onthe

fi rstdayof a five-daytrip,we usually

don’thunt.Whenyoustopandhunt

the firstgoodsignyoufind,you’llhave

to completely regroup if something

unforeseen happens. If itisn’t hunt-

ingpressure,maybeit’sthatyourtar-

getbuckcomesinandyoumisshim.

approach.If youhaven’tbeenusingone,

you’re missing a critical component in

your hunting strategy, and it’s ultra-af-

fordable. It won’t put a buck in front of

you, but it can certainly lead you to the

promised land when you’re hunting un-

familiar whitetail country.
