HARVESTERS
N
ew Holland agricultural and construction dealership
and broadacre farming products specialist company
McPhersons Parts and Service is taking a new approach to its
used combine harvester range.
The Parkes-based dealership currently has a range of used
combines with a number of different fronts available – most of
which were originally sold new by the company, branch leader
Nathan Jennings says.
But, due to conditions around Parkes and across the state,
Jennings says it is time for the company to adjust how it
approaches combine sales.
“We previously held onto our used combines for our current
customer base who were not in the market for new so we
could offer the history and continue to carry out all repairs
and service,” he says
“But it is now time to offer these reliable crop ready units
throughout all of Australia, along with assistance in getting
them there.”
Jennings says he and his team aim to combine tradition,
innovation and technology in finding the right agricultural
machinery solution for customers, no matter where they are
in Australia.
To deliver on this, the group has put together an attractive
$2,000 in-store credit package, along with no-trade and freight
deals, to help customers purchase the correct equipment their
enterprise requires.
“With the interest rates low it’s the perfect opportunity to defer
payments, also by taking advantage of our no-trade deals and
handing over advertising your current unit to our marketing
team, we take the stress out of advertising it yourself and again
lowering the freight bill,” he says.
“All our used combines have been through our state-of-the-art
workshop making them crop-ready to eliminate any downtime
within the short timeframe when crops are ready to strip.”
Originally opening its doors back in 1986, McPhersons has
recently become part of a wider partnership in Central West
NSW, alongside Temora Truck and Tractor and the Forbes,
Cowra and West Wyalong Machinery Centres under owner
David Thompson.
The dealership specialises in providing respected brands such
as New Holland agriculture and construction, Croplands spray
equipment, Horsch tillage and seeding gear, Honey-bee fronts,
Trimble guidance, Agri-Spread spreaders, Grainline augers,
Hustler mowers and more.
Jennings says he aims to continue Thompson’s passion in
building McPhersons Parts and Service as a market leader in
broadacre farming.
“Combine harvesters are our core business so our technicians
are consistently trained in the technologies available to make the
units more productive and efficient for our customers,” he says.
“We class our technicians as some of the best in the business
with the skills, tools and equipment to back it up and fitted with
all genuine New Holland parts.
“With the four other branches within our group, our teams
are able to share knowledge and ideas and their combined
experience of over 200 years,” he adds.
