A

rgo Australia is the first international Argo distributor

outside North America to be granted rights to the entire

Argo ATV range, including two-seater models. Making the most

of that, the company has recently taken on the challenge

of introducing two new 500cc ATVs, the Xplorer XR500 and

XR500LE.

The base-model XR500 has steel wheels and manual steering,

while its high living brother gets cast aluminium wheels, an

additional bar-mounted headlight, a front brush guard and

power-steering.

Argo says it doesn’t expect to turn the local ATV world on its

head by adding to the 500cc free-for-all but is confident the

move will help expand its reach into the Australian agricultural

off-road market.

andGeoffUdystillspeakswelloftheproduct,thoughhe’sno

longerinvolvedin retailingit.

Establishedin 1978,TGBis a well-knowncompany

manufacturingscootersundertheExpressandBladebrands.It

producessingleandtwo-seaterATVs,andATVandUTVengine

kitsfrom 400 to1,000cc.Atonetimeit producedscootersfor

thefamousItalianbrandPiaggio.
