the major panel lines on the
model, followed by a coat of
Humbrol Grey enamel. I then
added several shades of grey in
bespoke mixes to add subtler
variations to the overall look. A
coat Gloss coat was then made
a smooth base for the excellent
decals, which conformed verywell around curves and into
the panel lines, with help of
some decal setting solution.
When the decals had fully dried,
a grey wash was applied to
make the panel lines and rivets
pop. Once the excess had been
removed and the model had
dried, I added a coat of Testors
Flat. Pastel powders were then
used to create dirt stains on
the laps, wings and fuselage.
Next, all pre-painted parts were
glued into place with a drop of
CA glue and the masking from
the clear parts was removed.
This was a very enjoyable
