More than 180 guests came
from near and far to receive
awards or to soak up the happy,
celebratory atmosphere at
London’s Royal Thames Yacht
Club on 2 April. Boatbuilders
and owners, yacht designers,
luminaries and more made the
journey from much of Britain
and Europe, and from as far as
Maine, Florida, Vancouver and
Antigua to light up the room.
They were rewarded by a talk
from Sir Robin Knox-Johnston,
our Lifetime Achievement winner.
