Cmd/Ctrl-click the three
shape names in the 3D
panel, then right-click
on them and pick Group
Objects. Double-click to
rename the group, then
go to 3D > Move Object
to Ground Plane’. Orbit
the view again. Go to
3D > Get More Content
and download the free
materials and IBL sets.

ADD PLASTIC
MATERIAL
Highlight the top shape,
then go to the 3D panel
and open its list of
materials. Click on the
Front Infation material
then go to the Properties
panel. Click the Material
preset picker. Click the
fyout cog to load the
downloaded materials.
Choose the Plastic Glossy
Red material.

SQUEEZE THEM
TOGETHER
Click on the middle shape,
then drag downwards
on the yellow centre
cube of the axis to ‘scale
uniformly’, making it
slightly smaller. Next,
click Current View in the
3D panel then choose
View: Left for a side-on
view. Move the shapes
on the Y axis again to
butt them together.
