mixture of Campers, from Rat to
immaculate, and even one Bay
covered in Astro turf - like you do.
Of course, the club itself is not a
total stranger to me, I’ve seen them
on display at a number of shows
over the past couple of years, and
we have actually featured several
of the crews’ vehicles in this very
magazine, although only one was
here today - and that - a Split Pick
Up - looks rather different to when
we featured it.
If you want a great location
to park up with the kids
then give Wendover Woods,
Buckinghamshire a try - lovely
cafe, playgrounds and a Gruffalo
hunt - but don’t go on the same day
there is a VW meeting there - it was
packed! It’s free to join the crew, but
I can’t be held responsible for how
much you might be encouraged to
spend money on attending shows, or
buying new parts etc. for your VWs!
You can find the club at
http://www.wolsburgcrew.co.uk, or
alternatively track them down on
Facebook or Instagram.
