MATERIALS

If necessary, buff the
card with a damp paper
towel to remove any ink
that’s sitting on top of
the pearl paint areas.

METHOD

1 Put a small amount of pearl paint on
a craft sheet and scrunch up some
cling wrap.

4 Sponge peacock feathers ink
randomly in a few areas.

2 Dab the cling wrap in the pearl paint, tap
it on the mat, then dab it on card,
rotating in different directions with each
dab and picking up more paint if needed.

5 Cover more areas with shaded lilac ink
and a sponge.

6 Use shabby shutters ink to fi ll in any
gaps and blend the colours.

3 Thoroughly dry the piece with a heat
gun so no paint will contaminate your
sponge or ink pads.

Try different ink pad
shades like soft pinks and
yellow for a different look.

Die-cut shapes out of
the small leftover
pieces for shimmery
embellishments.
