Clearly, Polly ticks a lot of boxes. She’s a yacht, but
with a healthy dose of workboat charm with the
buoyant form, tough external chainplates and that
transom stern that puts you in mind of a West Country
working boat from a century ago.
It can’t harm that she was built by David Moss,
whose smaller boats are known for their great
craftsmanship and attention to detail. This is his
biggest boat yet. She stormed to victory in her
category and also earns the distinction of being this
year’s most voted-for boat overall.
