The compelling photographic
work of Italian artist Gianluca
Serra brings landscapes alive by

mood of each scene. Serra's
photos represent the merging of
nature and humanity through an
exploration of natural landscapes
and cultural activity. He captures
places of enchantment and magic
as well as of danger and mystery;
from the awe-inspiring beaches in

firefighters in the serious action
of subduing a fire.

Gianluca Serra was born on the
beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy,
and its natural awe-inspiring
landscapes are the inspiration for
a lot of his work. Serra embraces
all photographic techniques, from
