What’s the buzz?Like all Wallys, the two projects in build merge
next-generation style and performance. Hitting the water this
year, the 28.3m Wally 93’s deck camouflages the central social

president Luca Bassani calls the dedicated owner’s cockpit on
the 44.2m 145 (due for launch in 2019) a “world first”.

For its first step into the
fully-crewed 25m-plus

interior designer Wetzels Brown Partners towards a
2018 launch, the 25.8m 85CS will be a fun, nimble

In the sheds: Wave 38
What’s the buzz?
The Wave 38 is part
of a series of yachts
between 38m and
60m designed with
Philippe Briand. While
it is keeping details
fairly quiet, Admiral Sail describes the Wave series as
“fun” and “fast”, and reveals that the 38m will feature
a captive reel system and generous interior volume.

Long Island 100
What’s the buzz?
An evolution of the Long
Island 85, the second
of which has just been
delivered, JFA’s first Long
Island 100 is presently on hold, but will unusually feature
a full beam master cabin on the bridge platform as well
as a modern interior by Franck Darnet. As with the 85, naval
architecture and exterior styling is by Marc Lombard, and
the 100 promises performance and easy-to-handle sailing.
