them an underwater camera to photograph all the diferent fishes

Fishing nets are
thought to make up
to 10 per cent of all
marine litter, and
they take at least
600 years to break
down in the ocean.
A British brand,
Davy J, has decided
to do something
about it and has
launched the Waste
Collection, a line of
heavy-duty, hard-
working (and yet
stylish) swimsuits
and bikinis, made
with 100 per cent
regenerated nylon
yarn from waste left
in the ocean. For
every ton of waste
nets collected,
enough yarn is
regenerated to create
more than 10,000

Our goal is to spread our
message – ‘unite like drops
of water to create a Passion
Sea for Change’. So next we’re
launching a Passion Sea World
Flag initiative where children
from each country collaborate
on a flag artwork expressing
their thoughts about water.
We are also producing a
theme song, with children and
known artists. We hope this
will help to spread the message
about water [pollution].”
