Perini and pals take

lighting design to the

next level on board Seven

For some yachts, lighting is

a finishing touch or even an

afterthought, but that certainly

wasn’t the case for Seven.

The latest launch from Perini

Navi, this 60m ketch was designed

around the lighting, working in close

collaboration with interiors studio Dante

O Benini & Partners and the technical

wizards at Videoworks. The aim was to avoid

any kind of dazzling light and instead mimic

the efect of natural sunlight illuminating

the interior. To make this work, each and

every element was tested in Videoworks’

laboratory to ensure a consistent level of

dimming and stability in all areas.
