Browse Named Events
So now, at the top of the Events panel, click
‘Named’ rather than ‘Suggested’. Here, our new
Named Event has been created and we can ‘skim’ through
the pictures in this event by moving the mouse pointer
across its thumbnail and double-click to open it.3
Add a new Event
Next, use the Add Event button at the bottom of
the window. You’ll be prompted to choose a name
for the new event, and Elements fills in the date range
using the data embedded in the photos. You can add a
description if you want to, but it’s not compulsory.
