ner to intermediate riders because of its

easy surfability and lack of intimidating

size or power. And with QuickSurf, riders

can easily transfer from side to side, which

adds an entirely new dimension to the

wakesurfi ng experience.

On top of all that, the S224 proves

fast and effi cient. It bested 40 mph and

achieved 4 mpg effi ciency at 25 mph.

methods of building with fi berglass and

talizes upon the success of its fl eet mate,

the versatile, do-it-all S202. The addi-

tional couple of feet this boat provides

gives you a bigger boat that, like its smaller

sibling, can provide the ride for a variety of

watersports thrills.

The S224 can pull a water-

skier for a dawn session, then

seamlessly switch gears and

tow your crew to wakesurfi ng

glory later in the morning. It

is a unique midsize boat that

defi nes the term crossover.

Since the Supreme S224 ac-

tually is a smaller, narrower

boat than most wakesurf-

specifi c craft, it requires the

addition of more weight to

get the wave to kick up to

surfable standards. But we

advise you not to put all that

weight in the bow. After our

extensive time riding and testing, we sug-

gest your best bet is to fi ll the rear ballast

tanks in addition to seating crew members

in the stern. With the help of internal bal-

last, QuickSurf and the center Stinger

tab, the S224 puts up a clean, moderately

shaped wave that your gang will have a

blast surfi ng.
