Calling all budding illustrators! Take the next step in your blossoming

career by winning an exclusive illustration contract with our sister

magazine, The English Garden. Published every month, The English

Garden is a glossy, inspirational magazine for everyone who loves

beautiful gardens, providing a leisurely, yet informative, amble around

the nation’s most exceptional gardens.

THE PRIZE

The English Garden team is looking for an illustrator to create new

artwork for the ‘Last Word’, a column by The Morville Hours author

and keen gardener Katherine Swift. The prize will include a six-issue

paid contract with the Chelsea Magazine Company – the Independent

Publisher of the Year 2015 and home to both Artists & Illustrators

and The English Garden.

Working in advance with The English Garden’s editor and

Katherine’s planned list of topics, you’ll provide the captivating

illustration that will chime with her writing and provide the perfect

fi nishing touch to the fi nal page of this elegant magazine.

HOW TO ENTER

For the chance to win this prestigious illustration contract, please

send three digital images of your artworks that you feel would be best

suited to the brief – these should be either photographs, scans or

digital illustrations, converted to .jpg or .eps fi les and no larger than

2MB each in size.
