Anu Majumdar
Anu Majumdar was a dancer-
choreographer for nearly twenty years
before an injury got her back to writing.
This includes Refugees from Paradise
and God Enchanter (fiction), Infinity
Adventures (YA), Mobile Hour and Light
Matter (poetry), short stories and articles.
Her poetry has been part of choreography
projects and art installations. She lives and
works in Auroville.
Manoj Nair
Manoj Nair is a writer, critic and cura-
tor. He is the author of Pencil Sketches:
a volume of writing on Indian visual arts,
cinema, literature and music based on his
experience as an editor and correspond-
ent with leading Indian newspapers and
magazines. Currently, he is working on a
book on the history of Indian independ-
ent rock music and its contribution to
Indian popular music.

Gautam Bhatia graduated in Fine Arts
and went on to get a Masters degree in
Architecture. A Delhi-based architect,
he has received several awards for his
drawings and buildings and has also
written extensively on architecture.
Besides a biography on Laurie Baker, he
is the author of Punjabi Baroque, Silent
Spaces and Malaria Dreams – a trilogy that
focuses on the cultural and social aspects
of buildings. Bhatia is currently working
on Below the Horizon – Ideas for the City.
Rehana Munir
Rehana is a Bombay-based writer-editor.
She set up and ran an independent
bookshop for a few years, drawing the
envy of all and custom of few. She has
run cricket websites, too, concluding
part two of the dream job trilogy. She
loves ginger tea, plotless novels and The
Beatles.
Sunil Mehra
Sunil Mehra is a
Delhi-based journalist,
filmmaker and
commentator on art and
culture. He has worked in
India Today, Outlook and
Indian Express. He has
also directed, produced
and anchored 96 episodes
of Centrestage, a weekly
show on arts and culture
for DD Metro and DD
International.
Premala Matthen
Growing up in family of art collectors
and living in several countries around the
world, Premala was always surrounded
by Fine Art of diverse tastes. She studied
Economic History at LSE, and later
worked in Equities at J.P. Morgan, before
finding her way back to her roots, her
passions, and of course, the Art Market.
Saritha Rao Rayachoti
Saritha is an independent
writer based in Chennai
who loves exploring
diverse aspects of culture
and has written over
a hundred articles for
various Indian print
media publications. Her
short stories have been
published in anthologies
such as 'Urban Shots:
Crossroads' and 'The City
of Gods'.
Rosalyn D'Mello
Rosalyn D'Mello is a
freelance art writer based
in New Delhi. Her
debut nonfiction title, 'A
Handbook For My Lover',
will was released in 2015
by Harper Collins. She
was the associate editor of
The Art Critic, a selected
collection of Richard
Bartholomew’s art writings
from the 1950s to the
early 1980s.
Gireesh GV
Gireesh is an artist and photographer
based in New Delhi. An avid traveller, he
is inspired by giants like Raghubir Singh
and Steve McCurry and enjoys capturing
experiences through travel, people and real
life stories.
