PROFILE
A WORLD OF MY OWN


In 2009 I entered my i rst show, the local Rotary
Art Show ArtEx, and sold an acrylic of three rusty
old trucks. That was very exciting, but also sad. I had
put so much work into my painting and I could not
bring it home, but it was exciting because someone
had bought my picture just because they liked it. I
have entered a couple more times, mainly just for
the thrill of seeing my painting hanging up with all
the ‘arty’ peoples’ paintings.
I did a painting for a workmate’s father of his
old farm. He loved it but said I didn’t look like an
