“The Royal Residence is certainly Maldivian

themed,” says general manager Amit Majumder,

who was closely involved in every aspect of

its creation. “The restaurant, shaped like a

traditional Maldivian boat, emphasises that

theme.” Watch the sunset, cocktail in hand,
