went to Berlin-based photographer
Sören Hese for this image taken during
the 5O5 German dinghy racing championships.
The image was selected as the best of 137
entries and was a controversial choice as it is
a composition of 15 different still photos taken
from a drone rather than a single shot.
Hese said: “I took this picture using a time-
motion-stack imaging concept, capturing
the image basically as a time series from a
quadcopter. I found its graphical structure very
interesting and also storytelling.”Picture this
