is sweetening the deal by provid-
ing customized workplace solu-
tions for smaller companies to stay
ahead of others.
“We are working on various
models so apart from giving space,
we are also moving to providing
them smart solutions. So if a per-
son wants to register his company,
to file a return or want a legal ad-
vice we provide it all. Smaller com-
panies do not require to run from
pillar to post. Also we are provid-
ing HR solutions to the companies
in case if they are expanding their
business,” he further added.
Vatika Business Centre also of-
fer an option for the professional
to possess virtual business ad-
dresses which can be used to man-
age correspondence, sort out qual-
ity assurance and background

meetings all at affordable rates
According to Taing, “There is
also a greater demand for smaller
office spaces. Even large MNCs are
setting up smaller teams in differ-
ent cities. We are expecting to in-
crease our turnover from Rs.85
crore per year to Rs.100 crore. The
company has already opened 15
Business Centres and has already
drawn a plan to add 5-6 Business
Centres every year.
“At present we have our presence
in larger cities like Delhi, Mumbai,
Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Bangalore
and Chennai. However we are also
looking at tier 2 cities. Also we are
in the process of opening up cen-
tres overseas in Columbo, Dubai,
Singapore and Bangkok,” Taing

workplace instantly which is not
possible in the traditional lease
rental agreement.
According to Taing, one of the
key aspect of the concept is that
the startups do not have to think of
designing and doing the interiors.
“One can just walk into their office
space with a mobile phone. We
provide everything from laptop to
printer to audio-visual equipment
to conduct teleconferences, doing
presentation, conducting small
meeting to seminar. This saves
huge initial investment for the
startups which they can invest in
expanding their business rather
than in decorating their work
space. That is the reason 25% of
our clients are startups and 50%
are small and medium businesses,”
Taing observes.
So a company can hire a space,
ranging from a single desk to an
enclosed team room, for tenures
ranging from 10 days to a month to
several months at a time, a facility
which is not available at the con-
ventional rental agreement. And
that is the reason the concept is
fast becoming popular and even
large offices are willing to locate to
these business centres.
“There has been a reorientation
in the workforce. An increasing
number of employees and workers
are looking into remote-working
and freelancing opportunities,
creating a demand for flexible
working spaces like business cen-
tres and co-working spaces,” said a
recent report by CBRE.
At present, there are more than
10,000 co-working centres cater-
ing to more than five million mem-
bers in India. Given the demand,
host of private developers are get-
ting into this space.
And given the increasing com-
petition is this space, the company
