The view of their lakeside home is something you might see on a
billboard advertising outdoor paradise. Complete with a cozy fire pit,
the American flag waves in the distance from their dock that is just
beyond the perfectly landscaped yard. The house itself has its own
charming qualities with a view of Round Lake in Hayward, Wis., that
is most likely the envy of the neighborhood.
This is the home of Ron and Jeannette Siemers who have been
coming to this lake for years, but didn’t move into their beautiful
home until the fall of 2016. With a simple press of a button their
2017 Bennington 22 GSR lowers into the water as the couple prepare
for an evening cruise. Quiet evenings on the lake are more frequent
now thanks to the FLOE International dock and lift system. It helps
make impromptu cruises more likely; in the past, snapping the cover
on and off made the decision to go a little less inviting.
The brand-new Bennington that the Siemers took delivery on
Memorial Day weekend last year is not only their second pontoon,
but it’s also their second Bennington.
“We had our 2007 Bennington for 10 years and when we decided
it was time to buy another one we did our homework and shopped
around to see what else was out there,” recalls Ron. “It didn’t take
long for us to realize we were happy with our old Bennington and our
local dealer and it didn’t make sense to go with anything other than
another Bennington.”
