DESCRIBED AS AN evolution of the world’s first and only touchscreen

Class B AIS transponder, the new-look WatchMate Vision2 from Vesper

Marine has a seamless black-bezel front panel and glossy black sides,

designed to complement any helm or nav station. Behind its exterior,

Vision2 features a highly responsive, easy-to-use capacitive touchscreen,

allowing users to scroll through menus, zoom in and out, select vessels

for additional details and navigation data, change alarm settings and

more. Its bright 5.7in colour display has excellent optical clarity over a

wide viewing angle, even with polarised glasses.

“Our WatchMate Vision2 is the most advanced AIS transponder on

saving features like smartAIS alarms, DSC calling and faster GPS, we have

as cars, JetClean Tronic II by

German additive specialist

Liqui Moly gives engines and

fuel systems a thorough

cleaning. Once connected

to the injection or intake

system, the battery-powered

device pumps in a cleaning additive

developed in-house. This allows for a

concentrated and efective removal of combustion

residues or deposits.

There are four additives for the JetClean Tronic II: one each for the

injection and intake system and one each for the gasoline and diesel

engine fuel systems. In order to prevent mix-ups, the gasoline additives

are coloured blue.

Oxford enters marine market

with waterproof luggage range

UK LUGGAGE SPECIALIST Oxford Products has entered the marine market ater

teaming up with its distributor, SMG Group (Europe) Ltd, to jointly develop a range of

products with marine-proof specifications. The first of these is the Oxford MARINEPROOF

Dry Bag waterproof luggage range, consisting of six bags made from tough, tear-resistant

500D PVC material. With a waterproof roll top closure and electro welded seams, they

are completely waterproof and also feature a clear ripstop panel to allow easy viewing

of the bag’s contents without having to open it. A removable shoulder strap and

flexi-lanyard mean the dry bag can be easily carried and attached to boats and other

watercrat to ensure belongings are kept safe and dry.
