NEW MERCURY OUTBOARDS

ercury Marine introduced its all-new V6 FourStroke

outboard family and an addition to its SeaPro commercial

line at the recent Miami Boat Show.

New engines include 175hp, 200hp and 225hp FourStroke

outboards and a V6 200hp SeaPro commercial outboard, all

built on a powerful, light, compact and fuel-efcient 3.4-litre V6

platform. The new engines feature naturally-aspirated powerheads

and proven mid-section and drive-system designs.

The dual overhead quad-cam and four-valve FourStroke

outboards not only provide large displacement, they’re also

lightweight at 215kg – the lightest weight in the class by more

than 4.5kg and 16kg lighter than current Mercury product in

this range. Mercury’s new commercial SeaPro 200hp 3.4L V6

FourStroke outboard is approximately 11kg lighter than the engine

it is replacing.

Routine maintenance is made easier than before by a top cowl

service door and Mercury’s idle charge battery-management

protects against battery-drain from multiple electronic devices.

Charging output is 20 amps at 650rpm.
