Author's explanation:
As your false alert was transmitted on 2187.5kHz indicating]3E, any
receiving vessel/Coast Station would be listening on 2182kHz. Having
received a DSC Distress Acknowledgement from Coast Station 002320074,

you asked that station to acknowledge receipt of your cancellation message -


then maintained watch on 2782kHzfor a few more minutes to receive any
late responses from stations that may not have received your voice
cancellation message. Remember to RESET your DSC Controller before
sending the voice cancellation message - or you'll be sendingfalse alerts
every four minutes or so.
