Bio: Rebecca Bowman Woods believes that everyone has a tale worth tell-
ing. She earned a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary
in Dayton, Ohio, in 2006, with a concentration in digital culture ministry, and
is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She was
the news editor and director of digital media for DisciplesWorld magazine until
it closed at the end of 2009.
Her work has appeared in Just Women, United Church News, the New
Catholic Encyclopedia (2010 Supplement), and the Fellowship of Prayer Lenten
Devotional (Chalice Press, 2008). She is the producer/director of Beyond Bor-
ders: Faith and Action in the Arizona Desert (2007), a thirty-minute documen-
tary about the work of faith-based groups along the Arizona-Mexico border.
Rebecca works as a freelance writer, editor, and media creator, occasionally
preaching and speaking in the Cincinnati area. She and her husband, Dan,
have four children.
