Move Time

If you want to do something other than drink a glass of
water, what will be your Move- time anchor?


Once you have your Move habit down, you’ll want to
increase your energy through fitness. Let’s talk about how to
do that effectively. I’ll give you a clue: it doesn’t start with
a ninety- minute workout DVD or going on an intense diet. I
know that’s normally where we start when we think of fitness,
but the fact is, the harder it is to reach a goal, the harder it will
be to maintain that level of fitness. There’s no use in trying
to sprint a marathon; we’ll only burn out. Our efforts toward
better health must start with simple, consistent habits. Slow
and steady wins the race.


Start Growing Your Move Time


I can be a bit competitive. In fact, I’m so competitive that I
don’t even need someone else to compete against. Last week as
I was cleaning off my desk in preparation to write, I crumpled
up a scratch piece of paper and threw it into a trash can across
the room.
I missed.
Obviously that was an affront to my athletic ability, so I
now had to make the shot. For the next fifteen minutes, I shot
that piece of paper, missed, walked over, picked it up, sat back
