Almost every day I discover something
new about yoga. One day it’s the fact that
I can balance in poses I never thought
possible, and the next it’s how I handle
an argument with a friend. Yoga has been
like a good parent, never giving up on
me, loving me unconditionally, pushing
me to be my best, and constantly there
when I need it.
Like any good practice, yoga and its benefits are constantly
evolving. The type of awareness that yoga encourages is
what allows your experience with the practice to change
over time, based on what you do and don’t need. Once you
make yoga a part of your life, it’s there to stay. This is true if
you’re a newly expectant mother; suddenly overworked and
stressed beyond belief; or training for a marathon. No matter
what, you can find a yoga practice that works for you.
