Lord my God awaken your church. Give us your light. Be our
teacher and comforter. Speak to each member so that they may hear
exactly what they need, what helps them. In all places be gracious to

Loving Father, you know the errors and the evil that make our
world dark and dangerous on all sides. Blow with a fresh wind and
disperse at least the thickest fogs in the heads of those who rule the
world and of those who let themselves be ruled by them and above
all in the heads of those who form public opinion.^344

Dear Lord God, I thank you that you remain the same; that your
years know no end; that your word remains, in which your heart is
opened and speaks to my heart. Give me the freedom, while all else
passes away, to hold fast to your word – and that alone. Amen.^345

Lord God, I am before you in human weakness, uniquely made, yet
like all humanity in the wrong with you and with my neighbour,
destined to die and lost without your grace. But also like others in
that your grace is promised and made available to us all in your dear
