Modi cations and Other Options


  • If you have pain in the knees, place a blanket under them for
    comfort.

  • If you feel too much sensation in the feet, keep your hands on
    the  oor or on blocks to alleviate some of the pressure.

  • If you have lower-back pain, keep the spine vertical or in a
    slight tilt forward.

  • For an even deeper stretch, bring your hands behind you on
    the  oor, turn the  ngers away from you, and then lean back
    into a backbend (1).
