A Starry Story
There was a star
And her name was Glow.
She wanted to explore
The oceans below.
“Space is fun,”
She told her mum,
“But I want to swim
Under the sun.”
She splashed and swam
In the ocean blue,
Explored all day
And the evening too.
Then it was time
To go to the sky.
She could not go home
So she cried.
A starfish came by
And saw Glow.
He lifted her up
And let her go!

Back in the sky
Glow lay in bed,
Resting her tired
And worn-out head.
What a fun day it was for Glow!

Stars
Diamonds in the sky.
Always flying high.
Moonlight makes
you twinkle.
Someday you will fly.
Shimmer and shine.
Glitz and gleam.
You’re always in my dreams.
Stars.

Hi, Oshin,
I love many shades of purple, but
especially orchid and lavender. And we’ll
take good care of Amy. Thank you.
Love,
Thistle

Dear Spider,
I love the activities that you publish in
the back of your magazines! So far, I have
three of those awesome things!
What did the wave say to the shore?
Nothing, it just waved.
What mammal is the key to dawn?
A donkey!
Joy Moore, age 7

Dear Everybuggy,
Hello! I loveSpi
I got it in 2017. I love to draw. I have lots of
odents where I live. So here is Esteban. He
a squirrel. He loves rats. He also loves to
eep in trees. I hope you like him!
Presley Rothe, age 8
Prosper, Texas
Dear Sonya,
I have heard you like to read, and so do I!
What type of insect are you?
Spider, because everyone is scared of
spiders, you could scare people by climbing
on them.
Phoebe Richards
Sonoma, California
I’m a dragonfly, Phoebe.
Love,
Sonya
I’d rather trick everybuggy than scare
them, Phoebe. That’s why April Fools’ Day
is my favorite day of the year!
Cowabunga!
Spider

Dear Spider,
I hope you enjoy this picture and
I would also like to say that I like your
magazine. I really like the Doodlebug
and Dandelion stories. My favorite
character in Spider is Ophelia the
praying mantis.
