    Alaska Airlines has adjusted planned operations at Dallas Love Field,
    with service reductions scheduled from 27Aug19. Planned changes are
    as follows:

    Alaska Airlines has announced service changes for Bellingham, where
    it is downsizing operations. The following seasonal routes will not be
    resumed in the autumn season:

  • Bellingham – Kahului: Seasonal service from Nov 2019 cancelled

  • Bellingham – Kona: Seasonal service from Nov 2019 cancelled
    Alaska Airlines will continue to operate up to five daily Bellingham –
    Seattle flights on/after 05Nov19.

AlbaStar [Spain] is operating a Sunday Durham Tees Valley – Palma
from 29Jul19 for 10 weeks using a B737.
AlbaStar has been granted a foreign air carrier permit, an
exemption, with service to begin between the EU and US with three
B737‑800s.
Alba Star plans to introduce various sectors in the summer 2019
season, including services from Milan and Verona. Planned operations
are as follows:

Alitalia [AZ/AZA] [Italy] will be rescued by Atlantia (Italy), as the firm
was chosen by Ferrovie dello Stato (Italy) to join the consortium of
investors, which includes the government and Delta (US). The carrier
will be relaunched with an overall capital injection of around US$1.1
billion. The Alitalia rescue plan would involve the loss of 1,000 jobs, out
of the 11,000 workforce.

Airblue [Pakistan] has added two more A320s, serial numbers 4393
and 4394, on lease from GECAS (US).


AirBaltic [BT/BTI] [Latvia] welcomed its 19th A220‑300, serial 55054,
the fifth A220‑300 received this year. Three more new aircraft will join
the airline’s fleet by the end of 2019.
AirBaltic is evaluating the A321XLR, should the carrier launch
transatlantic flights from Riga.
The carrier is now basing two of its A220‑300s in Tallinn due to
strong demand in the Estonian market.

airBaltic has temporarily filed its last Boeing 737 scheduled operation,
currently listed in November 2019. The airline’s 737‑300 aircraft is
tentatively scheduled until 26Oct19, while 737‑500 scheduled until
29Nov19. As of 22May19, 737‑500 operations for November 2019 are
as follows:



  • Riga – Copenhagen: 28Oct19 – 29Nov19 BT131/132 Day 15
