Transaero [Russia] intends to appeal to the Arbitration Court of the

TAP Air Portugal [TP/TAP] [Portugal] plans to adjust Lisbon – Belem
services with the A321LR, replacing the current A330‑200 from
29Oct19 to 28Mar20.
TAP Air Portugal has retired its last A330‑300 from revenue
operations, as serial 1015 and its sister aircraft were sold to Air Canada.

TAP Air Portugal has accelerated planned Airbus A330‑900neo service
to Africa, previously scheduled from late March 2020. The latest
adjustment to planned A330‑900neo Africa services are as follows:



  • Lisbon – Luanda eff 20Dec19: 7 weekly

  • Lisbon – Maputo eff 31Dec19: 3 weekly


The planned last A340‑300 scheduled service remains unchanged as
31Dec19, Luanda to Lisbon.


Taquan Air resumed flights on 03Jun19 following voluntary
suspension following recent accident.


TAROM [RO/ROT] [Romania] is studying multiple 10‑year recovery
plans, says new CEO Madalina Mezei. Plans include the renewal of the
fleet, the resumption of transatlantic flights in 2020, and talks about
the possibility of state aid. The carrier’s B737‑300 fleet will be phased
out as part of the plans.


Tchadian Airlines [Chad] launched a new N’Djamena – Bangui route
on 06Jun19. The airline plans to launch flights to Cameroon, after filing
the paperwork in Douala.


Texel Air [Bahrain] plans to keep its existing B737‑300Fs in service
but may acquire more B737‑700FCs should B737‑700s coming out of
service with airlines become available.


Thai Airways International [TG/THA] [Thailand] workers’ union has
attacked the airline’s plan to buy or lease 38 new aircraft, saying it
would put further strain on the company that is already suffering
under crippling debt.
