A regular visitor was Aerospatiale AS350B N9FJ on 6th, 11th, 14th,
20th, 21st & 24th.SOUTHEND, ESSEX – June found a number of changes in the easyJet
Airbuses based here during the month. At the beginning of June, based
were A319-111s G-EZBO & G-EZFX and A320-251Ns G-UZHS & G-UZHX.
During the month the following company aircraft were based here on
the dates stated: A319-111s G-EZAN (11th-month end), G-EZAU (14th-
month end), G-EZBO (1st-11th), G-EZFX (1st) & G-EZNM (1st-14th);
A320-214s G-EZUW (19th-month end), OE-ICG (24th-25th) & OE-INB
(27th-28th) and A320-251Ns G-UZHS (1st-19th), G-UZHT (17th-24th,
25th-27th, 28th-month end) & G-UZHX (1st-17th). They were
supplemented by three other A320s during the month. On the 2nd
A320-251N G-UZHM flew in from Bristol to operate the service to/from
Ibiza, departing back to Bristol the same day. A320-214 OE-IVB
positioned in from Orly on the 24th to fly the outbound service to
Malaga, whence it returned on the 25th to operate that day’s services
to/from Ibiza and Alicante. It departed to Paris CDG on the 26th. After
a based aircraft went unserviceable, A320-251N G-UZHS arrived from
Gatwick on the 25th to operate the delayed service to/from Dubrovnik,
returning to Gatwick later that day. Based here at end-June were A319s
G-EZAN & G-EZAU, A320-214 G-EZUW & A320-251N G-UZHT.
Ryanair also had a number of changes to the Boeing 737-800s
based here in June. At the start of the month based here were EI-GDX,
EI-GJM & EI-GSG. In June, the following were based on the dates
stated: EI-GDD (17th-23rd), EI-GDV (3rd-16th), EI-GDX (1st-8th), EI-GJF
(16th-25th), EI-GJJ (9th-16th), EI-GJM (1st-9th & 26th-month end), EI-
GSG (1st-3rd) EI-GSH (23rd-month end), EI-GSK (8th-17th &
25th-month end) & EI-GXJ (16th-26th). They were supplemented on
the 12th by EI-GJF, which flew in from Dublin to operate outbound to
Palma, whilst EI-GDE flew from/to Dublin on the 24th. Based here at
the month end were EI-GJM, EI-GSH & EI-GSK.
There was no change in June to the aircraft based here to operate
the Stobart Air/Flybe services, with ATR-72-600s EI-FMJ & EI-FMK both
being based here for the entire month.
Air Malta used the following aircraft on its services from/to Malta
in June on the dates stated: Airbus A319-112 9H-AEJ (29th) and Airbus
A320-214s ES-SAV (1st), 9H-AEI (7th, 15th, 28th), 9H-AEK (11th, 22nd)
& 9H-AEO (4th, 8th, 18th, 20th, 25th).
