Despite the work they’ve done so far, there are still some spaces in the home that
could use attention. “We’re intentional when we update and like to take it slow, have a
plan and make sure it’s done right,” Maryal says. “That means some spaces stay eyesores
for longer than we’d like.” Chris and Maryal have made peace with the imperfect rooms
