Download an app
Once you’ve found an app you
want, click on Get or its price in the
top–right corner. Click Buy App to
confirm (if it’s paid–for), then click Install.
The Mac App Store will indicate next to
this button if it has in–app purchases.
Update your apps
The Mac App Store is also where
you update any installed apps. Click the
Updates tab in the sidebar, then click
the update button. This is also where
you can see recently updated apps in
case you need to check what changed.Redeem a gift card
If you have a gift card for the Mac
App Store, you can redeem it by clicking
your profile name in the bottom–left
corner, then Redeem Gift Card in the top
right. Enter the card’s code and click
