DESIGNED BY Siân Brown, this bolster
cushion has a smart, sophisticated look. Its
cream fabric is highlighted with touches of
stranded colourwork, including large tree
motifs. The main piece is worked following
the colourwork charts below - which
include sections of intarsia on certain rows


  • while the circular end pieces are worked
    from the centre out. The cushion is finished
    w it h m o s s s t itc h b ut ton b a n d s. O u r s a mpl e
    uses Debbie Bliss’s Cashmerino Aran yarn,
    which feels soft and luxurious, yet it can be
    machine-washed at low temperatures.
