Many of Katrina’s patterns are inspired by the repeat patterns of tiles,
carpets, stained glass, furniture and gardens that appear in heritage
buildings and property. In this bag she has used some of the 'circular'
shapes that are popular. The pattern uses fussy cutting techniques for the
elongated hexagons. The medallions are created by English paper piecing.
To construct the bag, Katrina has employed hand appliqué, machine piecing
and hand quilting, and she has added some ricrac embellishment.Finished size: 25.5cm x 30.5cm x 10cm
