hands, but as ever #teamtoft rose to the
challenge and 100 hours of crochet later I
was sewing up yet another 6’ tall Edward’s
Menagerie animal ready to head off to the
first John Lewis date the next day. Complete
with official tour T-shirts, it felt extremely
exciting (and just a little bit rock and roll) to
be setting off on tour, but it was obviously
still accompanied by the nerves that no one
would come! With Sid (and tonnes of books)
loaded into the van we headed off onto
the M1 on a 12-day road trip to meet and
inspire as many crocheters as possible.
The ‘show and tell’ sessions were one of
the most rewarding parts of the tourSid the Giant Anteater accidentally
became the mascot of the tour!

photo opportunity with him from Yarndale
to Create and Craft TV and onto Ally Pally
Knitting and Stitching Show.I would like to say a big thank you to the
