COME ON IN
Located in the city of Anchorage, this Alaska Zoo opened its doors over fifty years
ago. Currently, it’s home to more than 100 birds and 50 mammal species. Despite
Alaska’s reputation for cold, snowy weather, the zoo is open year-round. Guests can
visit in the fall or winter months for a subarctic experience, or they can stop by in
the spring or summer for a warm, sun-soaked day with the animals!
ONE OF A KIND
Guests can venture to the
lynx habitat to catch a
glimpse of Alaska’s only
native wildcat species.
