Step 9.
Use the cake pop mix to create a cone on
top of the head.
Step 10.
Gently mark out a central line across the
head. I have done it offset so the cat is
looking at the mouse. Create eye sockets.
Step 11.
Fill with thin white fondant and smooth.
Add a small oval of green to the bottom
corners of each eye. Add ovals of black
in the centres for the pupils. Add a ball
of white to the top right corner of each
pupil. For the cheeks, roll out two 2cm
balls of black paste. Squash slightly and
attach to the midsection of the face
under each eye. Roll out a slightly longer
pebble of black and flatten slightly.
Step 12.
Place between the eyes and smooth the
upper part to blend with the head. Roll
out a 1.5cm wide triangle of pink paste
for the nose and attach.
Steps 13a & b.
Roll a 6cm wide banana of black paste.
Add under the cheeks for the mouth,
blend the seams and open up the mouth.
Roll out a smaller version of the banana
and cut in half. Attach over each eye
and blend. Use a small banana of paste
coloured with Ruby Red or Burgundy
ProGel to go inside the mouth. Flatten
and place inside.
Step 14.
Roll out two small white fangs. Attach
using Rainbow Dust Edible Glue. Repeat
on both sides and add smaller fangs
between. Pad out the face on either side
with a pebble of black paste and blend.
Use the dresden tool to mark whisker
holes on each side.
Steps 15a & b.
Roll out 60g of purple paste into a
triangle to cover the hat. Wrap around
the cone on the head creating a large thin
point on top. Trim off excess at the back
and blend the seam. Curl the edge over
into a spiral and glue if necessary.
Step 16.
Use modelling paste to create the brim
of the hat. Roll out an 8mm thick band
around 25cm long. Wrap around the base
of the hat and blend the joins at the back.
Pinch and distress the edge of the hat.
Roll out a ribbon of green. Wrap around
the base of the hat. Roll out a black
diamond 7cm long and add a smaller pink
diamond inside. Cut in half to create ears.
Attach either side of the hat.
Step 17.
Cut out a square of light brown and cut
