Step 19.
Roll a 40g egg shape of green paste then
turn into a pumpkin. Shade the ribs and
around the eyes green.
Step 20.
Roll a thin layer of white paste. Cut strips.
Place on wax paper. Put yellow, green and
brown powders on a paper towel and
lightly stain. Shade the borders brown.
Steps 21a-c.
Paste the strips on the mummy. Avoid
stacking too many layers. Begin with one
around the bottom and two crossing
above the eyes. Place the next three
carefully as they give the expression.
Attach the first hiding the bottom of the
eyes. Attach the second under the first
and curve. Attach the last above the eyes
leaving only a third of the eyes poking
between. Fold the remaining in a zigzag
and leave to harden.
Steps 22a & b.
Roll a thin sausage of chestnut paste, cut
and attach along the mouth for a stitched
effect. Shade brown. Roll black paste into
small sausages with pointy ends, give the
desired shape and attach for eyebrows.
Paste one or two sections of folded strips.
Bats & Cats
Steps 23a & b.
Make three 15g pumpkins of orange
paste. Create eye sockets and press
almond shaped yellow and green eyes
and red eyes inside. Trace the mouth with
the dresden tool only on the red-eyed
pumpkin. Dust orange.
Steps 24a-d.
Cut two discs of black paste with the
biggest round plunger cutter. Place next
to each other and cut the upper section
with the same cutter. With the smallest
round plunger cutter, cut two circles on
the lower section of each wing. Clean and
rectify the shape with the X-acto knife.
With the dresden tool, trace the fingers.
Leave to dry. With the knife, open two
splits on each side along the ribs, add a
little glue and insert the wings.
Step 25.
Cut two triangles of white paste. Attach
to the mouth. Roll orange paste into
sausages with pointy ends. Attach to the
top of the eyeballs and shape.
Steps 26a & b.
Roll one medium and two big white balls,
one medium black ball and one tiny pink
ball. Attach the medium white ball on
the first cat pumpkin and press the upper
end with a mini ball tool. Insert the pink
ball in the hole and press. Attach the
