ustainability is a fast changing and the onset of
new regulation, , increasing operational costs and
greater stakeholder scrutiny have created challenges
and opportunities that cannot be ignored. As the world’s
largest manager of commercial buildings, CBRE has both
a responsibility and an opportunity to inÁuence the way
buildings are built, sourced, managed, occupied and sold. As
per estimates by India Green Building Council (IGBC), the
number of green buildings in India is expected to increase
from 2,236 in 2013 to about 100,000 by 2025. At present,
